The United States is in talks with Mexico on an aid package of hundreds of millions of dollars to help the Mexican government fight drug cartels, U.S. officials said on Wednesday. The US government is closing in on a deal with Mexico to launch a major fight against the violent drug cartels there, a report said Wednesday.
