Mexico CITY, Dec 4 - Mexico's auto sector, hit by a deluge of second-hand imports from the United States, urged the government on Tuesday to stop the entry of beaten-up cars and trucks from U.S. junk yards. A syrup candy imported from Mexico is being voluntarily recalled after state health officials found excessive levels of lead, Texas officials say. Dec. 4 (Bloomberg) -- President Felipe Calderon said Mexico's economic growth will be ``significantly higher'' than 3 percent in 2007. ``Some estimate growth this year of about 3 percent,'' Calderon said today in an interview with Mexico City-based Radio Formula. The U.S. Border Patrol said Monday that it discovered a secret tunnel that may have been used for smuggling drugs across the U.S.-Mexico border east of San Diego.
