July 4 (Bloomberg) -- Mexico's peso rose after Standard & Poor's this week raised the country's credit rating outlook, citing prospects legislators will approve a bill to boost the country's tax collection. A landslide triggered by recent heavy rains buried a passenger bus on a mountainous road in central Mexico today, authorities said. A mudslide buried a bus carrying as many as 60 passengers in a remote region of Mexico on Wednesday. A local rescuer said those on board were probably killed but the government held out hope for survivors. Mexico's government sees no quick end to a drug war that has killed almost 1,400 people this year despite a lull in the violence, the attorney general said on Tuesday.
