Sun Ming Ming, the 2.36m (7ft 9in) Chinese giant who is the world's second-tallest man, will continue to work on his dream of reaching the National Basketball Association in Mexico. In a June 17 story about a woman's search for her son who was deported to Mexico despite being a U.S. citizen, The Associated Press misspelled her last name. Parker-Hannifin Corp. plans to close its Sporlan Valve Co. plant in Mexico, Mo., in October, and consolidate its operations in the firm's Washington, Mo., plant, spokesman Jim Cartwright said Tuesday.
