Marvin Menzies said Friday he wants to build on what Reggie Theus started at New Mexico State, but unlike Theus, promised to make his stay at the mid-major school a much longer one. Kathryn A. "Katie" Norvell, 53, of Fravor Road, Mexico, died Sunday, June 24, 2007. She was predeceased by her parents, Marjorie and Phil Norvell, and a sister, Linda Hill. Surviving are her brother, John (Bonnie) Norvell of Canandaigua; nieces, Amy (Robert) Krajci of Alexandria, Va. The 1.5-mile barrier along the U.S.-Mexico border was designed to keep cars from illegally crossing into the United States. There's just one problem: It was accidentally built on Mexican soil.
