A team of Springfield soccer players took a cue from the locals on a recent trip to Tlaquepaque, Mexico, developing an increased passion for the sport during their time spent in the soccer-obsessed country. A small earthquake has struck near the California-Mexico border but there are no reports of damage or injuries. The U.S. Geological Survey reports the quake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.0 struck around 7:00 p.m. Saturday.
